TEMPORARY AMENDMENT TO OUR STANDING ORDERS
In order to accommodate staff working at home during the Covid-19 (novel coronavirus) outbreak, the following amendment to the standing orders is in effect from 19 March 2020:
5.2 Electronic bid submissions shall be opened at one time and only in the presence of a Force Solicitor or Assistant Force Solicitor.
Details of the documents contained in each submission shall be recorded in the Contracts Register, signed by the person responsible for opening the tenders and kept by Legal Services.

Staff employed directly by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (under the direction and control of the Chief Executive), are, like those under the direction and control of the Chief Constable, employed under the Police Staff Council Terms and Conditions of Service.
Any variations in policy and procedure operated within the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner in comparison to the Police Force will be explicitly documented and approved by the employer in consultation with Unison.
